Ar. Dhayananth Founder & Principal Architect, D.L.E.A

Hailing from Thanjavur, a city renowned for its rich heritage and architectural grandeur,

Ar. Dhayananth developed a deep appreciation for tradition and craftsmanship early on. His passion for design was complemented by his dedication to sports, instilling discipline and focus that continue to shape his professional ethos.

Dhayananth earned his B.Arch from the School of Architecture and Planning (SAP), Anna University, Chennai (2002-2007), followed by an M.Arch (General) in collaboration with Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany (2011-2013), which broadened his design perspective with global exposure.

His professional journey includes:

  • Internship: Third Space Architecture Studio, Belgaum (2005-2006)
  • Junior Architect: SPA Designs Pvt. Ltd., Delhi (2007-2008), contributing to projects for Tarun Tahiliani and Triburg
  • Project Architect: Oasis Design Inc., Delhi (2008-2009), with key projects like Panchsheel Wellington and a Delhi Haat competition-winning proposal

Dhayananth founded D.L.E.A with a vision to create context-sensitive, globally competitive designs. His work seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, focusing on crafting timeless and meaningful spaces. With a diverse portfolio ranging from bespoke homes to urban-scale projects, Dhayananth continues to lead D.L.E.A in shaping innovative and impactful architecture.

India’s Most Prominent Architect & Interior Design Awardees

DLEA’s Principal Architect Ar.G.Dhayananth was chosen as one of India’s Most Prominent Architect & Interior Design Awardees 2017 and awarded “among best architects in chennai” by one of the pioneers in the field of marketing research, “Merit Awards and Market Research (MAMR)”, who organize India’s Most Prominent Awards in the field of Health Care, Dental, Education and Business every year to highlight the ability, uniqueness and also honor the business achievers, leaders and innovators.

All the nominees for these awards are the individuals as well as organizations who have made the difference by going above and beyond what was expected and left a lasting mark and deep impression of their work and DLEA is proud to be one among them.
